Central Library having more than 1 Lakh Books

Our College Library is well equipped with more number of Books, National and International Journals. For effective Teaching learning process, the library is maintaining a special section which is incorporated with Educational CD’s and DVD’s in fields of Engineering, Management and Science and Humanities. The Library takes more efforts in adding more volumes of books and journals every year to quench the thirst of our staff & students.

Open access system is adopted to avail the maximum utilization of the Library resources. To benefit the students, Digital Library is installed, which helps them in utilizing the library more effectively. Library transactions are maintained by Integrated Library Management Software package with Bar-coding provisions.

Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) facility is available to save the access time of the users. We have DELNET membership for the library which provides e-journals every month.The library department is manned by the following staff who are highly qualified and experienced.

Rules & Regulations

    Library remains open from Monday to Saturday from 9.30 am to 5.30 pm on all college working days.
    All staff / students are required to sign in the library register while entering the library
    All UG, PG students and staff members are eligible to be enrolled as members of the library
    Each student will be issued 4 – library tickets and staff will be issued 5 - library tickets which are not transferable. And each university Rank holder will be issued extra 2 – special library tickets.
    Books issued can normally be retained for a period of 15 days by the students and one month by the staff
    Dictionary, Reference books, Dissertation, Periodicals and News papers will not be lent out
    For loss of the books the borrower has to replace the books
    Use of cell phones inside the library is prohibited

    Provides in-plant training to the students during their summer and winter vacations.
    Preparing students to take-up the aptitude tests, face the interviews and group discussions.
    The English Department trains the students to prepare their curriculum vitae, conducts Enhancement program right for the First year of their course to develop communication Skills.
    We believe in the real world business environment and we regularly invite experts from Different functional areas from both academic and industries to deliver Guest Lectures.
